Back in April we announced that Wycombe Wanderers Football Club had contracted Clearglow Sport to install a giant new LED screen and digital perimeter system.
Fast forward to August and we're delighted to share news that the summer installation was completed ahead of the 2021/22 EFL season, with the big screen providing a platform through which to entertain and engage fans, whilst the perimeter LED is delivering a hugely powerful commercial platform for the club.
Launched in spectacular style, the new technology received its grand unveiling as the Chairboys welcomed Premier League side, Leicester City, to Adams Park for a pre-season friendly.
Big Screen, huge opportunity
The new 42sq.m LED screen provides a high impact platform through which the club can engage fans every matchday. Our turnkey solution provides Wycombe Wanderers with a powerful content management system which offers a huge range of functionality for the club to entertain its fans.
More than simply a clock and scoreboard, the new screen can deliver live video, including pitchside/roaming camera feeds, social media messages, goal stings, commercial content, live stats and much more.
Now a month into the season the media team has already been putting the system to good use, filming plenty of green screen content to bring the screen to life, as well as using the giant display for half time interactive games to involve the entire crowd.
Now Clearglow Sport plans to build on that early success to deliver more features to help the club make the Adams Park matchday, one of the very best in English Football.
